Preschool Plus a Whole Lot More!

Hours of Operation

Our school hours of operation are 6:30am.-6:00pm. for children attending who are enrolled for before and after care.

Preschool

Children who are here for childcare are automatically enrolled in morning preschool every day the children are in attendance. The Preschool program runs from 9:00 to 11:30. Please refer to the Preschool schedule in the Parent Handbooks or on this website to see what your children will be doing between 8:30 and 11:30. There will be an additional charge for preschool children dropped off before 8:50 and picked up after 11:30.

Lunch

Lunchtime at Holy Cross Preschool provides excellent opportunities for our children to engage their social/emotional skills while enjoying a hot, nutritious meal. Children enrolled in our Childcare and Preschool Plus programs are provided a fresh cooked lunch on site. Every food group is included in our lunch menu each day. Families also have the option to send a packed lunch for children who have a special dietary need. Lunch is served at 11:30 am.

Rest Time

Preschool children rest between 12:30 and 2:00. All childcare children who are here between those hours, will be required to lie down and rest. We request that you send a pillow and blanket for your child and no more than one other nap-time security item for your child. Please label everything. Nap items may be brought in on Monday and left all week or taken home daily as needed. Washable items must be taken home each week to launder and returned to school the following week.

Afternoon

Childcare continues from 2:00 to 6:00. Upon rising, children are provided with a snack. Following this, the children will be free to explore their own interests through free play in the classroom, active play on the outdoor classroom or in the gym. The afternoon staff plans activities to keep the children learning while in the classrooms. Our facility closes promptly at 6:00. A late pick-up fee will be charged for children who are here after 6:00.
